Grab a Specialty Slice at Union Park Pizza


Union Park Pizza opened up a few months ago after a whirlwind realization of a previously undiscovered dream. Owners Joe and Maggie, both foodies, hadn’t really been thinking seriously about opening a restaurant when they stumble upon a vacant storefront in the South End, but that quickly changed. They nabbed the spot and, within a few months, Joe’s love of pizza and Maggie’s affinity for culinary experimentation culminated in Union Park Pizza.

The pizzeria serves up whole pies and single slices loaded with inventive ingredients. Even the staple, The Standard, features house-made organic red sauce, garlic-infused olive oil, fior di latte, aged parmesan, aged mozzarella, and freshly chopped herbs. Most of the pies begin with this base, like The Mags Supreme, which is also piled with mushrooms, red onions, green peppers, olives, organic baby spinach, and a mix of pepperoni and sausage. The pizzeria also offers a vegetarian option, or you can build your own pie.
